Location : MUMBAI, INDIA
Our client is a leading diversified FMCG (Food /Non Food) company engaged in the business of import and export of all commodities such rice, sugar, pules, cereal, grams, flower seeds globally and offering solutions and support services to RETAILERS / IMPORTERS AND EXPORTERS as well as International brands with its Headquarter in MUMBAI, INDIA.
Develop best in class procurement strategy to help meet objectives & goals of the business. Createand implement best practice purchasing vision, strategy, policies,processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance. To manage and lead all procurement functions to meet business demands. Source suitable suppliers. Initiate and oversee the supplier contract process and evaluate contracts. Select, evaluate and screen preferred suppliers on consumable items. Review and negotiate supplier terms, pricing and deliverables. Evaluate suppliers on deliverables. Procure specialized items based on project timelines Generate and approve purchase requests and orders for procurement items required. Ensure that purchase order requirements are submitted to the relevant suppliers. New Supplier development & New Product Development. Obtain pricing for import/export transport. Total experience – 10+ yrs. Of Exp. In FMCG Industry & 5+ years of exp. In similar role. Bachelor degree in any stream. Diploma / Certification in Procurement Management or Supply Chain management/ International Trade. Exposure in Asian/Far East/ Europe/ Middle East countries.
